For the past few months, Adam Freeland has been pushing the first single, "Under Control", from his new band, Freeland. With remixes from Alex Metric, Zombie Nation, and others, the debut single has already gotten lots of blog love and attention. Well today we've got the music video for the single and it truly adds a whole new dimension and energy to the track. Just imagine it live folks! Really psyched for this record, it's shaping up to be a big one. Catch it out this June on Freeland's own Marine Parade.
OH and be sure to catch the band on tour here in the US starting May 1st at DC's own Rock and Roll Hotel, followed by stops in NYC, Toronto, Montreal, Chicago, LA, and San Francisco.
Freeland (Adam Freeland) has a new single out titled "Under Control" off his upcoming new album Cope; we were able to get our hands on a fantastic remix by German-producer Miles Dyson. Dyson's cut is a pumping electro anthem with exciting buildups, drops, and a bassline and vocal arrangement that will drive the crowd wild.
Adam Freeland got together with some crazy Kubrik toys and had a dream about Daft Punk playing out on their Pyramid in celebration of Obama winning the Presidency. The trippy visuals and stop-motion animation are fantastic, and when Obama comes out its just hilariously classic.

Thanks to the guys at Discobelle for bringing this to our attention. Adam Freeland has been playing out an edit of Daft Punk's Aerodynamic with a bit of a chant for Barack Obama. It's pretty nice considering that in the realm of electronic music I haven't seen some outright political endorsements via tracks. We all know people are supporting certain candidates but hearing it outright on the track is a great and different thing.
If you're an Obama supporter, rock the track all the way through Election Day on November 4th. Oh and I promise to never get political on here, but this is really important. If you haven't registered for your absentee ballots or registered to vote in New York or your home state, do it now. The deadline is literally a week away.
